Art for Beginners
Description : This class is an introduction to drawing. Appropriate for kids 6-8 years old and who have little or no experience in drawing. We will be working with graphite.
Teacher: My name is Miranda Neuberger and I will be the teacher of this class. I graduated from high school this year and I have been an art student of Mrs. Rice for 7 years. Over the years, I have developed an interest in portraiture and more specifically, children. You can see my art at the Fauquier Hospital where my art work is being displayed. Last year, I won Best in Show at the Congressional Art Contest and as a result, my picture hung in the Capital in D.C. for a year. I also won Best in Show at Mrs. Rice’s Art Beat Show. I have seen too much art work that emphasize death and corruption. I know that God has called me to be different from the world and emphasizing life and grace in my art.
Requirements/grade levels : ages 6 – 8
Tuition : $112 for 14 classes
Materials Fee : $30 (this will be your deposit)
Class Times : Wednesday 10:00 a.m. -10:45 a.m. (1ST Class)
Wednesday 11:00 a.m. -11:45 a.m. (2nd Class)

God Made Kinder Music
Teacher: Trina Droppa
ages 5 - 7
Fee: $40 for 20 classes
Materials fee: $6 for consumable book
Class time: Wednesday 10AM -11AM
Class runs as follows: Sept 13 - Dec 6 with Dec 13th as a make up day if needed and continues Jan 3 - Feb 21 with Feb 28 as a makeup day if needed. Both sections are needed to complete this course and are included in the class fee.
Learn simple music theory, listen to music and sing songs with us, by going through the God Made Kinder Music book from Praise Hymn. The book contains 34 lessons. We will cover two per week for the first 17 classes. The final three classes we will listen to Classical Kids series: Mozart's Magic Fantasy, Vivaldi's Ring of Mystery, and Mr. Bach Comes To Call. The last three classes MAY be combined with God Made Music 3 during that class time(11AM -12PM) as they will also be listening to the same stories.

Individual Reading and Writing Instruction
Description: Student will receive individual instruction in reading and writing to improve reading fluency and writing skills. Each session will be tailored to his/her specific needs using the Action Phonics program.
Teacher: Leesa Leary, licensed teacher, holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from George Mason University
Requirements/grade levels: all ages
Tuition: $35/50-60 min. session or $200 for 8 sessions, paid in advance.
Materials: Student will need to regularly bring a folder to class.
Class Time: Wednesdays, on the hour from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Reading Fluency and Writing Enchancement
Description: This class will focus on ways to to help students improve their reading fluency and writing skills using the Action Phonics and Excellence in Writing programs.

Requirements/Grade Levels: Speak with me about individual reading abilities. Will group students accordingly.
Tuition: $150 for fall tuition; $75 to reserve your spot and the remaining $75 by Sept. 6
Materials: Student will need to regularly bring a folder to class.

Piano and Art classes with Laura Randall (Bristow area)—not LIFE classes
Beginners Piano Lessons: Laura Randall has studied piano for nine years and is currently studying under Dr. Martin Berkofsky. She will be teaching piano at her home in Braemar. Weekly lesson fees: $10.00 for half an hour, $20.00 for an hour.
